Build Pro

Pricing Promise and Subscription Terms

The plain-English terms a customer agrees to at signup and at checkout. Prices: Solo $39/mo, Team $79/mo, Pro $129/mo, per company. Annual = ten times monthly (two months free).

Part 1 — The Pricing Promise (short version, shown on the founding page and at checkout)

  1. Founding members: your founding price is locked for as long as your
  2. subscription stays active. It never goes up. If a payment fails, you have 30 days to fix it before the lock is lost. If you cancel and come back later, the lock does not come back with you.

  3. Every other customer: the price you sign up at is guaranteed for your
  4. first 24 months. After that, if prices ever rise, your price rises only at a renewal, by no more than 10% in any year, only after at least 90 days' written notice, and you can cancel before the new price ever touches you.

  5. Annual plans: the year you paid for never changes mid-year, for anyone.
  6. Month-to-month means month-to-month. Cancel anytime, yourself, in the app.
  7. No phone call, no retention maze, no cancellation fee.

Part 2 — Subscription Terms (the agreement)

1. What you are buying

Build Pro is subscription software for one contracting business ("your company"). A subscription covers your company — not a seat count. Your team members who work for your company may use it under your account. You may not share your account with another business, resell access, or let anyone outside your company use it.

2. The free first job

Your first job is free, with no card required: up to 5 leads and 1 job run the full way through estimate, contract, scheduling, invoice, and payment. The free job is one per business — per owner, per company, and per contractor license number. Starting a second job, or a sixth lead, requires a subscription. Deleting or archiving a job does not free up another free job. We may verify business identity, and accounts created to farm extra free jobs may be closed.

3. Billing

4. Price changes

5. Your data

6. The software, honestly

7. Fair use

You agree not to: use Build Pro for anything unlawful; send spam or unlawful marketing through it; attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; copy or reverse-engineer it except where the law guarantees that right; or create accounts to evade the free-job limit (§2) or a lock for non-payment (§3). Breaking these rules can end your access, with your data export still available.

8. Ending

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes are announced at least 30 days ahead by email and in the app, and never remove the Pricing Promise (Part 1) from a customer who already holds it. Continuing to use Build Pro after a change takes effect means you accept it; cancelling before it takes effect is always available.

10. The law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless a later version of these terms adopts arbitration, which would be announced under §9. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms, together with the Pricing Promise, are the whole agreement about your subscription.
